UCAS
All of our students receive high quality information, advice and guidance when considering options after the Sixth Form. There is a detailed and comprehensive programme of activities that support students' application to University and to help them research other avenues of Post-18 training and employment. Links to information provided by UCAS will be posted on this page and on the Sixth Form twitter account.
Examples of the programme include:
- Specific use of the Unifrog programme from Year 12 onwards looking at university and other post 18 options, grade requirements etc
- Attendance at a UCAs Higher Education Convention in Liverpool or Manchester where universities from across the UK and beyond are available for discussion and information
- Dedicated UCAS application day
- University visits
- Talks in school from universities on applications and interviews
- Personal Statement workshops from local university outreach teams
- Information about summer residentials
- Chester University Timeline free residentials offered to students in Year 12
- Student Finance Information for students and parents
- Dedicated tutor time support for university applications
