We're proud to be working with @dwrcymruwelshwater @cheshirewildlifetrust and @projectsforest on an exciting sustainability project to help protect the River Dee With the installation of 15 SuDS (innovative drainage systems) across our school site, alongside creative, studentled artwork, our students are playing a key role in reducing pollution, lowering flood risk & making a real difference to our local environment. Recently, our Year 10 Art & Design students have taken this even further, working with local artist @nikkipinderart to share ideas, creativity & inspiration for a new wildlife mural at QPHS as part of the 'Slow the Flow' project! #RiverDee#EcoEducation#ClimateAction #PublicArt#sustainability

Meet Milla - our new Head Student... "I am so honoured to have been granted the opportunity of being one of the two head students at QPHS! I have been at QPHS since September, and can say with confidence that moving here has been the best decision I have ever made! I am so excited to be able to give back to this school which has helped me grow so much in such a short space of time! I am extremely passionate about art, and I hope to be able to help promote the QPHS art & design department. I am so grateful for how QPHS has helped me grow creatively, socially and academically. I hope to be able to help nurture a school environment that encourages creativity and has a vibrant, supportive atmosphere. I am so proud to be apart of the QPHS community and hope to ensure that every other QPHS student is equally as proud to be a part of such an incredible community.
