We're proud to be marking Pride Month at QPHS this week In PD assemblies students are learning about what Pride means & how it links to our 'No Outsiders' message that we are all different & everyone is welcome in our school community. They're also exploring what LGBTQ+ stands for, learning about inspiring role models such as Marsha P. Johnson, Bayard Rustin, Audre Lorde, Alvin Ailey & Dua Saleh & discovering the history behind Pride, including the Stonewall riots of 1969 a key moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. Pride is about celebrating diversity, showing kindness & respect & making sure everyone feels accepted for who they are, important values that we hold at QPHS. #QPHSChester #PrideMonth #NoOutsiders #EveryoneIsWelcome
