She gave brilliant insights into how apprenticeships work, the skills she's gaining, & why this route was the perfect fit for her. Our brilliant Year 8 masterminds have spent the morning putting their strategic skills to the test at the Chester Schools Together #Chess Tournament hosted by @bishopschester Huge congratulations to Riley B, who delivered an outstanding performance & finished as runnerup only losing in his semifinal to the eventual winner! Our Sixth Formers had a brilliant day at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge with Chester Schools Together last Saturday! After a very early (& very rainy!) start students explored the modern campus, learned about Cambridge traditions, & took part in workshops on personal statements & interview skills. A campus tour along with a Q&A with current students rounded off a very inspiring visit. A long day but totally worth it! #dreambig #aimhigh #definingfutures
