A little yellow goes a long way and on Friday 8th October the sun was shining inside and outside of Queen's Park High School as staff and students took part in Hello Yellow for World Mental Health Day.
Queen’s Park High School received five applications for the four vacant Parent Governor positions, which closed at 12.00pm on Wednesday 6th October 2021.
School Governors are essential to guide and monitor the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team and in developing the school for the benefit of the students and its community.
Following the start of the academic year we are now looking to recruit four new Parent Governors to join our ambitious governing body (nominations close 6th October 2021).
This year we are delighted to be able to invite Year 5 and Year 6 children and their families into Queen's Park High School for our Open Evening which will be held on Thursday 30th September 2021 from 6pm -9pm.
Once again, Queen’s Park High School students have done themselves and us, as a community, proud. Despite the turbulent 18 months they have endured, our students have shown such commitment to their studies and a determination to succeed which have today reaped just rewards. We were thrilled to have been able to welcome our students back into school this morning, having achieved both some spectacular individual successes as well as sustaining (and indeed exceeding) the pattern of improvement the school has seen over the past few years.
Students and staff at Queen’s Park High School are once again celebrating outstanding A Level results for students who have dealt with an incredibly challenging year with such positivity and commitment. Building on the successes of last year, performance has continued to improve across all subject areas with students achieving some outstanding results both individually and across subject areas.
We have just released the premiere of our end of year virtual Art & Design Summer exhibition to celebrate creativity and the achievements of our students.

We are absolutely thrilled for Zuzu Lacey in Year 13 who has been awarded a reading list scholarship from The Reading List Foundation.
