Celebration Evening 2024

On Wednesday 17th July we welcomed our students and their families to the end of year Celebration Evening, to recognise the hard work, effort and achievement of over 100 students during the academic year 2023-24.

There were four different types of awards presented including:

• Subject Excellence Award - This award is presented to students who have received the highest number of Reward Points in their year group for the subject.
• Outstanding Achievement Award - This award is nominated by the Curriculum Team Leader who with consultation with faculty staff, recognises the significant effort and attainment in a subject.
• The Will Lawrence Award for Perseverance - This award recognises the fantastic effort and achievement of one student who has shown a tenacious approach to overcoming barriers to their learning.
• Head of Year Award for Outstanding Learner of the Year - Nominated by the Head of Year, this award is presented to one student each year group  (7, 8, 9, 10 & 12) who has shown a brilliant all-round general approach to their educational experience at Queen's Park

Huge congratulations to all students receiving awards tonight and a big thank you to our QPHS community including parents and carers for your support at home as, without this, these young people wouldn’t be the kind, motivated, hard-working, ambitious and well-rounded young people of our school.
