'A taste of success' - bite-sized virtual events
The Early Careers team at HSBC have created a series of bite-sized virtual events and supporting material, all designed with the aim of developing your soft skills. These are all geared to give confidence on current and future employment prospects, myth bust common recruitment misconceptions and target key employability skills to give you an advantage when looking for a career. Starting from National Apprenticeship Week, these sessions will be run throughout the year so keep an eye out for future events.

National Apprenticeship Week, exclusive virtual events:
Do I need a degree to enhance my career?
Date: 10th February at 6pm – 7:30pm
An exploration of various career routes that are available, with an emphasis on what you need to consider when trying to choose the correct one for you. You will also get an opportunity to ask question to HSBC panellists and hear their professional journey.
How to stand out?
Date: 11th March at 10am – 11am
A session dedicated to applications. This will include a breakdown of CVs in general and aim to demystify online applications. They will also include application hints & tips from an employer’s perspective to give you an insight into what is looked for.
How to be the best you?
Date: 22nd April at 10am – 11am
An exploration of the different type of interviews, alongside their purposes. This will cover what signs to look for, and how you can maximise your chances at success. They will also include different tips and tricks from an employer’s perspective to give you an insight into what is looked for.

Financial Education
