'Without the Walls' Arts Festival Exhibition

‘Without the Walls’ Art Exhibition ran in conjunction with the Arts Festival hosted by QPHS this year and showcases Art & Design work by children from the Dee Schools Partnership in collaboration with Edsential. The eleven schools including Queen's Park High, Christleton High, Chester Catholic High, Belgrave Primary, Lache Primary, St Clares Catholic Primary, Dodleston CE Primary, Eccleston CE Primary, Overleigh St Marys Primary, St Werburgh's & St Columba's Catholic Primary & St Mary's Community Nursery.  The schools have come together to showcase their visual responses to this year’s theme.

Queen’s Park High School combined this idea with a week’s long timetable of specialised workshops led by the art department using lino printing, textiles, ceramics, digital editing and trophy awards. The workshops were a challenging day for all involved as students worked exceptionally throughout the days and learned new skills and produced work of exceptional quality.
