Examinations

Students will be issued with individual examination timetables mid-February. These timetables are also known as statements of entry and it is important students check all the details carefully, especially the spelling of their name, date of birth and the subjects and levels (i.e. Higher or Foundation) they have been entered for are all correct. Please note legal names should be used in examinations. Exam certificates will be printed with the names that are on these statements of entry.  If the names are not correct you may in the future experience difficulties in using these certificates as evidence of your educational qualifications or in getting replacement certificates if you should lose the originals.

If there are any errors or omissions they must be reported to the Exams Officer IMMEDIATELY as it may be difficult to change things at a later date;  it may also cost students money in late fees.

Students are responsible for making sure they know which exams they are entered for and when they take place. If an exam is not on the statement of entry it means you have not been entered for it and you must notify the Exams Officer immediately.

If a statement of entry has been lost, a duplicate can be requested from the Exams Office at a cost of £1 which will go to the school’s charity collection. After Easter individual timetables will be visible in Synergy.
