Permanent, Term Time only (38 weeks per year)
18 hours per week Monday - Friday
Grade 3, SCP 2 – 4 £22,366 - £23,114 (pro-rata £9,107.24 - £9,411.82)

We are seeking to appoint a caring, reliable and organised person with an interest in inclusive education to work with our successful and hardworking Visual Arts & Design team at Queen’s Park High School. You will need to be flexible and have good levels of initiative in order to perform the many and varied duties. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of the induction process.

Queen’s Park High School is a smaller than average 11-18 comprehensive school beautifully situated, close to the heart of the historic city of Chester. The school is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted January 2020) which works in close partnership with Christleton High School, Chester International School (CIS) and Belgrave Primary School as part of The Learning Trust.

Our school vision is ‘Inspiring Individuals, Empowering Minds, Defining Futures’ and we strive constantly to improve the quality of our students’ classroom experiences in the pursuit of outstanding learning. Art and Design, Design Technology and Food Technology are popular subjects throughout the school and form part of the Visual Arts & Design Faculty. There is a strong ethos of teamwork, sharing of good practice and a commitment to providing the best opportunities to ensure the success of our students at all levels across the school.
