Mrs Merryweather & her Year 13 RS, Ethics & Philosophy crew took 'Cakey Wednesday' on the road for an intensive Revision Day at @nestonhighofficial With university style lectures on Metaethics & Religious Language plus AO2 workshops it really got their brains buzzing & appetites hungry for more! #broadeninghorizons @uochester
They couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting! On Tuesday Year 10 & 12 Religious Studies students headed to Chester Cathedral for the inspiring Christian Controversies Conference.
Dr Miranda ThrelfallHolmes opened the event with a powerful keynote on "Difference, Diversity & Deviance", sparking lots of thoughtful conversations & big questions.
They then took part in small group workshops led by experts in theology & ethics diving deeper into challenging ideas & exploring fresh perspectives.
The day ended with a brilliant Q&A panel, giving our students the chance to test their thinking & build on their critical thinking skills.
